About Me

Jacob, raised in Florence, brings over 14 years of IT experience to the table, with CompTIA CE A+ and N+ certifications under his belt. A graduate of UNA with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science, he began his career in 2011 with a managed service provider (MSP) in New Orleans. In 2015, Jacob returned to Florence to launch his own venture, FryeTech IT Services. He took a detour to work with other local MSPs before relaunching his business a decade later. With a passion for teaching and a love for technology, he has also taught Continuing Education courses at UNA, embodying his dream of being the go-to "computer guy." Jacob is also an avid nature lover, supporting causes like The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, and Arbor Day Foundation.
